Don't stop now - Finish your Cubase tutorial

I hate it when someone can't finish what they started!

Consider all of us Cubase dummies out there, who just want to record from their USB midi controller. How do I do it? What buttons do I push? What frigging tool bar menu selection do I utilize. How do I set up? What do I set up once I turn the Local off of my keyboard?

I have 5 songs recorded on my keyboard that took me a long time to create. I don't want to re-record them by hand into Cubase, I just want to transfer these midi files.

My keyboard is supposed to handle this operation, but I as I'm sure many others, don't have a frigging clue. Please educate me further. Don't leave me hanging.
