MCDave was born in KL in a very musical household and developed a love of music at an early age. He started spinning vinyls early 90s at house parties and small clubs using his friend’s equipment as a training ground and learned the art of mixing. He has a wide music knowledge from 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s which has given the advantage in choosing the right tune for the crowd. In addition, he is very meticulous in mixing the right track to ensure there is good harmonic mixing which are used by top DJs all over the world. Alongside with the new DJ Software technology(Serato Scratch Live & Traktor Scratch Pro), he is able to mix and match different types of genres from Funk, Old School Retro, R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, RAP, House , Hindi, Bhangra and Tamil. It was his ability to mix different type of genres and scratching techniques using vinyl that built a quick reputation and had him spinning all over town and across the region.
