Weddidng Cake Sound Off

I introduced myself as a always do. The bride commented that they had seen me DJ before and liked it. I thank her and proceeded to take about how the order of the night would go. She commented that she wanted to do somethings to make the crowd laugh and left it up to me to figure out what that would be. My mind started racing. Then it came to me, Nobody ever does anything during the cake cutting. I asked the bride and groom what they had planned in regards to smashing the cake and both std they did not want to make a mess. I agreed and asked them if they would play along as we made it kind of fun. Of course the bride lit up and said yes of course. So the moment came, I brought the crowds attn to the cake and at the moment they started cutting the cake, I used the chain saw sound effect that I have on my system. The crowd started laughing as did the bride and groom. Then on the second cut i restarted it, by this time they were all enjoying it, and at the end of the cut the groom raised his arms as if he had just finished cutting a limb off a tree. It did exactly what both myself and the bride and groom hoed to accomplish. The rest of the evening went great. At the end of the night they thanked me wholeheartedly and stated that I had made the evening perfectly memorable. |
